The Eyes of Loki are a fun magical routine that takes the classic Hippity Hop Rabbits theme and extends it further into an impossible looking effect with multiple color changes and deceptions.
Two relics are introduced to the audience, one representing a Copper Eye, and the other a Teal Eye. Once under cover the eyes appear to switch positions, before switching back. As the magician goes to inspect the items for the audience he turns around the eyes to reveal the the colors on the backs of the eyes are not copper or teal at all! But we’re not done, without missing a beat or covering the eyes again each of the eyes are carefully turned over once more to show that there was never any copper or teal on either sides of the eyes!
The handling of these items is beautifully clean and simple with the magician being able to show his hands empty at all times during the routine and even being able to delicately handle the items with just the finger tips giving this effect a flawless & baffling presentation.
Designed by Anthony Yap these beautiful hand made items are produced with precision and care creating a truly unique magical item that looks like it could have been discovered deep within some old hidden ruins.

I have just written an eight-page guide following the video explanation of “Eyes of Loki”, as I always do. It promotes the understanding of a trick, because you don’t just receive, but have to think.
In the process, I noticed how logically “Eyes of Loki” is structured once you have internalised the process. Basically, if you know the “Hippidy hop rabbits”, you already know how to perform “Eyes of Horus”. So you don’t need to remember very much. If you like, it’s “Hippidy” for a cultivated adult audience to whom you perform the trick at the table. All the props are made without fault and work as they should once you have familiarised yourself with the mechanism. As with “Mystery of the Rune Ring”, I can only unreservedly recommend it to any lover of micromagical treasures, as we call such tricks in Germany. Anthony Tap not only sells beautiful tricks, but they also work.

Anthony has created a beautiful set of props that takes Hippity Hop Rabbits to a whole new level. They work smooth as silk and I love how the covers can freely be shown empty unlike Bunny versions. Actually everything can be handed out but why chance someone dropping your exquisite props? The kicker finish is so good there’s no need for examination…only resounding applause.
