Step into the legend of The Curse of the Jade Dragon — a highly visual, card effect where magic, mystery, and transformation collide.
Perfect for story-driven performances and designed in a mystical oriental theme the prop resembles an ancient temple with a dragon engraved down one side and a deck housing on the other.
The prop can be shown from all sides as it’s introduced to the audience along with a deck of cards. The cards can then be shuffled and spread for the spectator to choose any card before signed it.
Their card is then lost back into the middle deck before the deck is then placed into the props deck holder where the cards can still be seen through the window. The ritual continues and a deeper story can be told full of fortune and sacrifice in hopes that the Dragon Spirit will favor the spectators chosen card.
Then on your command and with a snap of your fingers, SNAP… The spectators card is seen to appear dangling above the deck, hanging from the roof of the temple. But wait, there’s a final kicker! As the spectators card is picked from the temple and the spectators eyes glance down at the deck they notice the entire deck appears to have transformed! As it’s pulled from the deck holder you can now reveal how the entire deck as been turned into a block of jade with the symbol of the dragon spirit carved into it’s face.

I own all 15 tricks from Retro Rocketeers. Years ago, I came across “Mystery of the Rune Ring” at “Trick Supply” (USA) and was immediately captivated. Since then, I eagerly anticipate every new magic trick Anthony Yap releases.
A year ago, I bought Celtic Marble Mystery, followed by Mystic Alignment and The Bifrost Blade, and a few months ago, The Curse of the Jade Dragon. I only unpacked the latter two today (at the end of January).
I own over 100 tricks of the type Anthony makes. His are among the most beautiful I own, and they are so perfectly crafted that the magician can rely on them 100%. Furthermore, they are easy to perform, which makes them much easier for us less experienced amateurs.
